A Meditation For The Fear of Being Seen
Sculpting a human mind is a sacred art that should be done with dexterity. It’s rare when I meet someone whose parent’s were aware that what they said and didn’t say, did and didn’t do would shape energetic patterns into the wiring of their child’s being.
And so most of us live with unconscious observations that we treat like fixed facts of life. I remember having a conversation with friends and trying to articulate this phantom “getting in trouble” fear I lived with as an adult.
I think when we talk about being afraid to be seen, to take up space, to express ourselves we are harkening back to neural imprints living in our tissues. The body remembers even when the mind forgets.
Language is the tool I use to reanimate and transform those neural imprints. By my word, I am offering a perspective to step inside of. Should you choose to engage with your memory this perspective will allow you to explore, agitate or disable it.
The audio meditation below uses binaural frequency (10 HZ) to help you relax, so it’s best paired with headphones. Please use responsibly and particularly not while driving or operating machinery. Be gentle with your mind and give yourself time to process feelings and memories that may come up.
